The Wave Ceptor’s magic ingredient is atomic timekeeping which ensures perfect timing via radio signals. It automatically receives the time and date from a radio transmitter in the UK (controlled by the National Physical Laboratory’s atomic clock) to guarantee timing accuracy to one second in a million years, and it will self adjust for summer and winter in the UK, so you don’t have to remember or fiddle about changing the time.

Unlike its imitators it can also be set to receive a signal from the European Transmitter in Germany – with a range of 900 miles it will adjust to central European time.
