MORE ABOUT INTERNET RADIO:
These day’s, virtually all radio stations broadcast their programmes live over the Internet. Traditionally you have had to use your home PC to listen in, which is not very convenient if you want to listen to the radio in a room that’s different to where you keep your computer! Sovos portable internet radio player is one of a small number of Internet radios available on the market today and it’s also the first in the UK to use a rechargeable battery so you don’t even need to be plugged into the mains to tune in! It works by picking up the wireless Internet signal sent from your wireless router and allows you to listen to radio stations from around the world.

A: You need broadband internet connection and a wireless router. The internet connection gives you the access you need to ’tune-in’ to the internet radio station, and the wireless router ‘broadcasts’ the signal to the radio
Q: How can I use this in a hotel, or airport or train station?
A: These days in many places in developed countries where people gather (hotels, airports, trains etc) WiFi internet is broadcast around the area or building. So you can be in a hotel in Mumbai listening to The Archer’s on BBC Radio 4!
Q: Do I need to enter a password into the radio before accessing any Internet connection?
A: Yes. Some internet connections require you to enter a password (encryption code) before using. A hotel will advise you of this code when you book in. Page 23 of the product user manual gives you simple instructions on how to enter in a password or encryption code
