The product is ideal for home use. I tested the dust that the machine collected and dust mites were present. I would also recommend using the machine in conjunction with a dust mite spray to help keep down contamination.

Machine working very well so far and seems to be effective - difficult to really assess the effectiveness as you cannot see the mites you are supposedly vacuuming up but when cleaning the filter there was certainly a lot of fine dust.
