Q: Can I use this as both a Hotplate and a Compartment warmer?
A: Yes! To use as a hotplate simply plug the base (the ‘plate’) into the mains and wait for it to warm up. Once it’s reached temperature rest your existing dish (casserole, takeaway deliveries etc) on to the plate and your food is kept warm. As a hotplate it’s ideal for keeping Indian curry deliveries warm!
To use the compartment warmer before warming simply place the compartment holder on to the base and put in the 3 ceramic compartments. Once temperature has been reached add in your food to keep it warm. Great when serving soups, vegetables, rice and noodles etc.
It is recommended you use the lids to retain as much heat as possible.
