A: Salter ProSharp knives are dishwasher safe but we recommend hand washing and regular sharpening to retain the razor sharp edges.

Q: Does the knife block dismantle for cleaning?
A: Yes, the rods come out as one block for easy cleaning. (The individual rods are grouped in a square bundle and are secured/bonded at one end to a sturdy easy-grip holder – i.e. there is no risk of the individual rods falling everywhere.)
