However, please note, this is in fact a video of the earlier model, and whilst it functions in the same way as the HT02, there is a slight design difference between the two; the battery for the HT02 is carried on your belt, making it much lighter (3.7lbs / 1.7kg).

Q: How long will the power last for on a full charge?
A: Typically 45 minutes under ‘normal’ use, but this depends on the type of work you’re doing: if you’re trimming average density hedge on totally dry conditions then it will run for 45 minutes. If you’re using the branch cutter head and using it for more heavy duty sawing of branches then a full charge may last a little less. Please note extra batteries cost just £19.95 – saving £5.

Q: How long does it take to charge the battery?
A: 15 hours from empty  

Q: Why does it weigh so little – just 3.7 pounds (llbs)?!
A: This is designed to be a user friendly lightweight hedge trimmer; the battery is carried on your belt (connected to the trimmer by a flexible chord) so you’re carrying the weight on your hip – not your arms.  The chord does not get in your way or restrict its use.

Q: How easy is it to change cutting heads?
A: It takes five-ten seconds maximum to change cutting heads. A simple one-handed press of the release button ‘releases’ the cutting head attachment from the main power unit, and the new cutting head just slots and locks in.  This is ideal for easy cleaning of the cutter head and for quick transfer between jobs.

Q: What are the differences between the standard and extra long blades?
A: The standard blade measures 240mm in length, has a 12mm cutting width and weighs 416g. The extra long blade measures 315mm in length, has a 15mm cutting width (meaning it's ideal for cutting through thicker or older branches) and weighs 536g. Both rotate at 1100RPM.

The telescopic function is very useful and the facility to angle the head is excellent in enabling awkward shoots to be trimmed. Generally we were expecting the motor to run faster, as previously we had only had mains connected trimmers, but once we got used to this it was fine, and the versatility of a battery operated tool makes it well worth the difference.

It works better than I thought it would and the charge is longer than any other i have used. The on off switch is irritating and cramps your hand after a while. But overall for a lightweight hedge trimmer that is very flexible its great and worth the money.

Have seen the same item @ £40 more. Does a good job of trimming the hedge though obviously not as powerful as a petrol driven or mains powered one. Light and easy to handle [I'm a pensioner]. It's a lot cheaper than having to pay someone to do the job for me.
