Wagner Spraytech Turbo Roll Paint Roller
Battery powered paint roller which stores the paint
Just: £29.95
2-YEAR GUARANTEE + FREE ROLLER
The Wagner Turbo Roll powered paint roller is designed to make painting large surfaces faster, easier and cleaner than using a traditional manual roller and paint tray.
It is a true time, labour and energy saving device and once tried you will never look back! Simply attach the supplied suction funnel onto any paint pot, connect Turbo Roll to the funnel (using built-in adaptor) and draw paint into the handle. Once paint is stored in the handle, simply press the power button to control the flow of paint to the roller, and begin applying!
Enough paint is stored in the handle to paint over 50sq ft / 5sq metres in one fill – literally halving your painting time, plus there’s no bending, stooping, spillages or messy paint tray to wash up!
- Free extra roller (additional rollers cost just £5.95)
- 4 x AA batteries are supplied (full charge will paint 40 litres)
- Roller width: 23cm x 2cm pile height
- Paint can be ‘pumped’ to roller manually if required (e.g. should the batteries run out)
Q: How does this work?
A:
- Step 1: clip suction funnel on to side of paint pot. The funnel goes right to the bottom of the pot and so sucks paint from the bottom (not the top) of the pot.
- Step 2: push the adaptor on ‘Turbo Roll’ firmly into the funnel and once in place simply draw the outer handle tube back toward you thus sucking paint into the handle
- Step 3: once paint is in the handle you can apply pressure to the power button (powered by batteries included) and paint is forced through small holes in the roller to the rollers surface
- Step 4: you use the power button to control the flow (amount and speed) of paint to the surface of the roller. So it’s easy to control.
- Step 5: once finished detach the roller head and clean separately in warm soapy water. Our tests showed you can clean the roller handle and the roller head in approx 20 – 25 minutes.
Q: How easy is it to clean?
A: Once finished detach the roller head from the handle and clean separately in warm soapy water. The paint-pot funnel will also need cleaning. Our tests showed you can clean the roller handle and the roller head in approx 20 – 25 minutes.
Q: How well does it spread paint across the roller head?
A: Very well using clever paint-dispersion holes spread out across the full width of the roller – paint reaches even the edges for a ‘one-time’ application.
Q: How many uses will I get from a roller?
A: Depending on how well you clean the roller after use. You will get as many uses from this roller as you would any normal roller. So depends on the type of paint used, how you clean and store the roller. The more you look after your equipment the better it will last!
