A: Yes, you can download a PDF copy of the instructions for this product by

Q: How easy is it to ensure the photograph is loaded squarely? So that my scan does not miss the edges of the photograph?
A: Simple: the Plustek scanner indicates where the photograph needs to be aligned using a symbol on the front of the machine (where you enter the photograph to be scanned). This symbol reminds you to insert the photograph flush to the left hand side, and square to the scanner. It’s very easy to use!
Q: What will the file size be of a 300dpi scan?
A: Our tests showed us that files ranged between 195KB to 336KB depending on the complexity of the image being scanned.
Q: Will the Plustek scan 7” x 5” photographs
A: No. The maximum size photograph that it will scan is 6” x 4”.
However anything under this size can be scanned, including other documents e.g. business cards
