This high-tech Mobile Air Cooler uses evaporative cooling technology which imitates air being cooled by the sea – by blowing air through its built-in water filter it reduces air temperature dramatically, unlike a fan which simply circulates air at room temperature.  

It doesn’t need a noisy compressor (unlike an air conditioner) so no hot air to pipe out via a window, door, or hole in the wall, and it even purifies the air you breathe: an active carbon filter and state-of-the-art negative ion generator removes unwanted air impurities (e.g. dust, pollen, smoke etc) and room odours.  Additional excellent features make this the best we’ve ever tested: large 9 litre water/ice tank, 2 freezer packs lowers temperature even further, adjustable timer and fan speed, oscillating directional louvers, smooth-running castors, remote control, and a 2kW ceramic heater for winter use!  It uses just 50watts of electricity – less than a normal incandescent light bulb!  Measures:  H 95.5 x W 38 x D23cm.
