Steepletone music centre to be used by Elvis fans?
A Steepletone music centre could prove useful for those looking forward to the Elvis Forever concert set to be broadcast on BBC Radio 2.
The BBC has announced Sir Tom Jones will headline the event, which will be aired live on the station on September 12th.
Jones is set to perform alongside artists such as KT Tunstall, Scouting for Girls, Imelda May, Craig David, Tony Hadley and Marti Pellow.
And the Takin' Care of Business Band, which was the rhythm section of Elvis's group between 1969 and 1977, will be accompanying the singers.
Lewis Carnie, head of programmes at Radio 2 and 6 Music, said: "I am delighted that Sir Tom can join us to celebrate the music of Elvis Presley, for a night that promises to be very special."
The concert will be presented by Radio 2 Breakfast host Chris Evans and Priscilla Presley.
And people planning to listen to coverage of the event may wish to purchase a music converter, which can record radio programmes directly to CD.
