Slide scanner could be useful for Italian holidays
A slide scanner could make an ideal purchase for Britons planning on taking a holiday in Italy.
According to Stefanie Gatta, a spokeswoman for the Italian State Tourist Board, Sicily is set to increase in popularity after easyJet announced it will now offer flights to Palermo Airport from London Gatwick all year round.
Sicily has a lot to offer visitors and a trip there does not have to be expensive, she continued.
Despite the island's pricey reputation, it is cheaper than other regions in Italy and holidaymakers will be able to eat well at reasonable prices, Ms Gatta explained.
She said Palermo is a "beautiful" city and from there people can visit the "stunning" Aeolian Islands by boat or explore the west coast towards Trapani.
And individuals planning to head to Italy might like to invest in a digital film scanner, which can convert negatives and slides into digital files to be printed or copied to CD.
