Mini digital TV recorder could be great for this year's Mercury Prize
A mini digital TV recorder could be useful for music fans wanting to watch the Mercury Prize on September 7th.
Live coverage of the event will be broadcast on BBC Two and presented by Lauren Laverne, featuring clips of performances by the 12 nominees and the announcement of the winner, followed by interviews and highlights.
Laverne said the awards ceremony is a "highlight" of the musical calendar and expects this year to be no different.
"I know the competition will be fierce and the judges are going to have a tough decision to make on the night. I can't wait," she commented.
The show is set to take place at London's Grosvenor House Hotel, where Jools Holland will be hosting the event.
And people keen to watch the awards again may wish to invest in a freeview receiver and recorder, which allows users to tape programmes directly to an SD card or a USB memory stick.
