Ion turntables could be set to rise in popularity
Ion turntable equipment could soon experience a boost in popularity after it was reported there has been a revival in sales of vinyl records.
According to ClickPress, LPs have "made a comeback in recent years", as an increasing number of artists are releasing their latest hits in both CD and vinyl form.
The news provider adds collectors describe the appeal of records as being centred on the sound they produce, which is generally thought to be richer and warmer.
Furthermore, professional DJs at radio stations and clubs still use vinyl to scratch and blend songs.
Many music stores have added both used and new vinyl sections to their shops in response to the "growing demand" for records, the news source continues.
This could make it easier for people to purchase LPs and those currently adding to their collection may wish to purchase Ion scanner equipment, which allows users to burn vinyl records directly to CD.
